Tripod
I use a small Joby Gorillapod which can also hold a lightweight camera, and I’ve added the phone grip from a selfie stick. Now you can buy dedicated phone tripods. Look for a flexible top mount so you can shoot portrait or landscape.
Camera remote
If you don’t want to race the self timer to get into a photo, you can use your headphones volume control to trigger the camera, or this basic selfie remote which pairs over bluetooth. Cheap and simple but does the job
LED Light
reflector
LED lights have got a lot cheaper recently. Better than flash as you can see how much light you will have and where it falls and adjust it. Look for one with adjustable colour temperature. Neewer is a good generic brand if you aren’t going for a big name.
This is a very tiny reflector, and folds away small. If you just need to add a small pop of light to a tabletop scene or someone’s face, it’s all you need.
